Scope and Objectives

Intelligent agents and multi-agent systems is a rapidly growing field in the mainstream of both distributed artificial intelligence and computer science. The aim of this special session is to gather researchers working on different aspects of agency.

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Agent communication
  • Agent cooperation
  • Agent reasoning
  • Agent societies and societal issues
  • Agent theories, models and architectures
  • Agent-based simulation
  • Agent-based system development
  • Argumentation, collective decision making and negotiation

Paper Submissions

Authors are invited to submit original unpublished manuscripts that demonstrate current research on one of the special session topics of interest. Papers should be prepared using the Springer LNCS/LNAI style with a maximum of 10 pages. All submitted papers will be reviewed by at least three members of the program committee. At least one of the members is in the PC of ISMIS.
